DOC NYC Pro -- Professional Development Program
The professional development arm of DOC NYC, America's largest documentary festival, providing industry education, market access, and networking for documentary professionals.
Overview
DOC NYC Pro is the professional development and industry arm of DOC NYC, America's largest documentary festival. Founded when DOC NYC launched in 2010, the Pro program provides accredited documentary professionals with access to industry screenings, market activities, workshops, and networking events alongside the public festival.
DOC NYC Pro has grown into one of the most important annual gatherings of the American documentary community. Producers, directors, editors, distributors, broadcasters, and streaming platform representatives attend the Pro program to discover new work, form partnerships, and stay current with developments in documentary film culture.
The program's New York location and its November timing, immediately before the year-end awards push, give it particular strategic value for documentary films in the awards pipeline.
