Overview

The Sofia International Film Festival is Bulgaria's most important film festival. Founded in 1997 and held annually in March in Sofia, Bulgaria's capital, the festival presents competitive international and Bulgarian cinema and has grown into one of southeastern Europe's most important film platforms.
