International Film Festival of India (IFFI)

Overview

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is India's oldest and most prestigious international film festival and the only FIAPF-accredited competitive festival in South Asia. Founded in 1952, IFFI has been held annually in Goa since 2004 and runs for approximately nine days in November. The festival screens over 200 films from around the world and attracts industry professionals from across the Indian subcontinent and internationally.

India is one of the world's largest film-producing nations, releasing more films annually than any other country. IFFI serves as the most important international platform within this vast film culture, providing recognition for Indian filmmakers while also connecting Indian audiences and industry with global cinema.

IFFI accepts submissions for its competition and sidebar sections. Festival History

IFFI was founded in 1952 in Mumbai and has moved locations several times before finding its permanent home in Goa in 2004.
